Care guide for your Blue Fern

• Water : Keep the potting soil consistently moist, but avoid allowing the roots to stand in water. Water whenever the topsoil feels dry. Always ensure good drainage.

• Light : Place your Blue Fern in a spot with bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves, so avoid south-facing windows. A north- or east-facing window is often ideal.

• Temperature : This fern thrives best at room temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Avoid drafts and sudden temperature changes. Maintain high humidity, which promotes growth.

• Repotting : Repot the Blue Fern only when the roots grow out of the drainage holes, usually every two to three years. Choose a pot only one size larger and use fresh, well-draining potting soil. Be gentle with the roots when repotting.

• Fertilizing : During the growing season (spring and summer), apply a diluted liquid fertilizer every two to four weeks. Use a fertilizer specifically formulated for ferns or a general-purpose fertilizer at half strength. Reduce or discontinue fertilizing in the fall and winter.
